How Squad groups play

See today's global Steam player count for Squad

Format and teams

Large matches can reach 50 players per side. A smaller community needs a server and mode that fit its actual turnout.

Roles

Squad leaders, medics and vehicle crews need coordination; recruit leaders before filling every seat.

Typical pickup flow

Players gather on the named server, form squads under leaders and follow the announced round plan.

For organisers

Arrange server access, queue policy, leaders and voice channels; don't promise a full match from a small signup list.

What a night here looks like

Use the roster to gather a group and ready check, then direct players to the server with clear join instructions.

Region and server

State the server and its timezone. Large matches may have queues before the group can enter.
